Mfg Multi Discipline Family Specialist

Performs responsibilities requiring integration of disciplines from more than one job family with the manufacturing occupation. Applies independent, specialized, technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectives. Activities include, but are not limited to, the development, integration, implementation, or execution of multifamily business processes and programs. Works cross-functionally with company organizations, customers, suppliers, and employees to carry out responsibilities. Interfaces directly with customers and all manufacturing organizations.
Uses problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to develop innovative and expedient solutions to fabrication problems.
Facilitates work teams, provides training and interfaces with internal organizations and external customers with regard to project planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
Skills & Experience
10+ years Fabrication Management and/or Leadership experience.
Experience managing union employees or participating in an union environment.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience reviewing, assessing and delivering key metrics and production data to Senior leadership and key corporate clients.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior experience utilizing SAP.
Occasional travel, may be required.
Lean Six Sigma certification, highly preferred.
Current or prior Fabrication experience, is a plus.
Aircraft maintenance or machining experience, highly preferred.
Leadership level Problem solving or RCCA.
Understanding of a production or manufacturing environment.
Understanding organizations that control processes i.e. FAA and NADCAP
Understanding of safety regulations and quality.
Experience in CATIA and ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Bachelor Degree and 5+ years experience in a leadership role.
