POSITION SUMMARY: This occupation requires using gas, arc, and heli-arc welding equipment. Requires the layout, fabrication, repair, building and use of fixtures, jigs and templates. Requires the use of power tools and equipment such as: cutoff saws, abrasive wheels, punch presses, grinders, plasma cutters, drills and other equipment or processes that may be required to accomplish particular tasks common to the occupation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at 4 years’ working experience performing industrial welding that includes TIG and MIG welders, torch cutmaster and drill presses . Must be able to set up and run all portable and stationary welding equipment. Must be able to do layout work using standard tools and equipment of the trade. Must be able to pass qualifying written and practical tests Must be able to obtain and Main a DoD Secret Clearance Starting Wage is $24.74 Post Hiring: All employees must obtain certification in welding operations by a federal agency, state agency or other recognized weld certification organization and must obtain certification in D serious coupons within ninety (90) days of entering the occupation.
