About The Opportunity

You will work as a

Solid Mechanical engineer within the Space Nozzle department. The Nozzle

department is organized within the function Engineering and is responsible for

product development and product support of Space Nozzles.

The role as Solid

Mechanic engineer is mainly focused on performing structural analyses and

evaluation of test data from space engine tests.

You will be part of

a team consisting of different engineering disciplines all focusing on Space

Nozzle development.

Key Responsibilities

As a Solid

Mechanical engineer within the Nozzle department you are responsible from a

mechanical point of view for contribution to the innovation and technical

development of the Nozzle products.

You are responsible

for performing analyses in an effective way by taking advantage of existing

design practices as well as taking responsibility for further development of

these design practices.

You contribute, as

everyone else in the team, to create a good working environment for us all,

full of inventions, team work and helping hands.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

You are an engineer with a MSc degreein Solid Mechanics or a relevant field, with industrial experience.You should have an interest to develop specialist knowledge within the field of solid mechanics.

We assume that you have good knowledge in robust engineering including tha ability to balance the design between cost, quality and requirement from the production. We also expect that you have the ability to draw conclusions from results and to present these conclusions of complex problems to a variety of audiences in a clear way.

Good knowledge of ANSYS and Matlab or Python is requested.

You should be proficient in English, both verbally and written. Knowledge of Swedish is considered favourable.

We expect that you have good social skills and the ability to create effective networks and work in teams as well as independently. We also hope that you have a strong interest in developing new ideas.

Since you will be working with space products with dual use applications, EU citizenship is a requirement.
