Position Summary: We are currently recruiting one full-time Field Services Technician to join our Stacy, MN team. The position will be responsible for leading the general effort of repair work of concrete pipe and related concrete products. This person will report directly to the Field Services Manager and take direction from the Field Services Crew Leader. Work may be onsite at Forterra facilities or offsite on customer projects and construction sites. Essential Functions: General laborer duties include but not limited to the repair of pipe, manhole products in the field and at the production facility Able to use fall arrest equipment and make confined space entry Any other duties assigned as seen fit by the Field Services Manager or Field Services Crew Leader Effective communication and coordination with customer's jobsite Foreman and other field installation crew members in providing warranty service to Forterra products. Self-motivated individual that works well with customers in a construction type jobsite setting. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to follow both written and oral specific instructions and procedures. Commitment to high quality standards and continuous improvements. Comply with all safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas and adhere to company OSHA safety guidelines at all times. Promote a safe work environment for all staff, vendors, and customers. Attention to detail. Ability to function independently as well as part of a team. Have flexibility and ability to problem solve and have technical capacity. Available to start work in the early morning and end late evening. Possible out of town work could arise. Expected to work Monday through Friday with Saturdays occasionally as necessary. Able to use basic hand tools and be mechanically inclined. Intermediate math skills. Fluent in the English language both written and oral.
