Position Summary: The Molding Technician is responsible for producing world class molds that meet or exceed customer expectations. Stratasys Direct Manufacturing excels in a variety of molding process, including compression molding, injection molding and insert over molding. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Thorough understanding of the Urethane casting process and the equipment used.

  • Thorough understanding of the principles of Silicone Mold design and fabrication.

  • Review Work Instructions for product Information and special needs.

  • Responsible for working in compliance to all Quality Management Systems.

  • Demonstrates commitment to Stratasys Core Values by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these values.

  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures and attends all safety trainings related to the job.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

  • All candidates must be either a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.

  • Basic math and computer skills.

  • Excellent hand and eye coordination required to perform highly detailed work.

  • Must be capable of establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with others in a team environment.

  • Ability to work well with employees from diverse cultures.

  • Willingness to attend company sponsored trainings and/or educational seminars.

  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality record.

  • Ability to work well with others.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No direct reports

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Works in a shop environment with exposure to power tools, machinery, and chemicals. Specific work schedule is coordinated with direct supervisor.
