JOB REQUIREMENTS: Calibrate equipment (i.e. thermometer, scale, etc.) Use shaving tool or designated tool to collect a sample for testing. Accurately prepare and process daily paperwork in an organized manner. Perform visual line, finished product, and monitoring room inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and stamp acceptable product according to specifications. Place tags to hold or reject product, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications. Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems or stop production if serious product defects are present. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing) - Must be able to communicate with Government personnel and other designated personnel, read specifications/labels, SOPs, SSOPs and HACCP, & be able to complete necessary written documentation. Hands-on knowledge, training and/or experience in Basic Microbiology, Basic Chemistry, Sanitation, HACCP preferred. Must have knowledge of & ability to monitor and take action to enforce for all food safety, SQF rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), pre-requisite programs, policies & procedures. Ability to attend to work consistently. Ability to work safely, wear PPE, & follow safety rules. Display a strong work ethic & a positive attitude Be adaptable & dependable with ability to follow direction & work in cooperation with others.
