Pfizer Warehouse Technician I in Vega Baja,
Unload containers for receiving of raw materials, packaging supplies and MRO's, waste materials for building six (6). Load containers with Finished Goods and/or Bulks of Minibags. Using forklift towers, place pallets in the rack system. Capable to perform basic transactions in inventory system using SAP Insures safety procedures, cGMP's, and good housekeeping practices are observed within the area at all times. Skills with forklifts, basic knowledge of "OSHA" and customer services. Promotes and supports the Pfizer Global Manufacturing philosophy of Model of Excellence.
High School Diploma and/or two (2) years in college preferable. Forklift license and experience of 1 - 3 years' in Pharmaceutical environment. Experience in warehouse, and Data Entry (basic computer knowledge).
At least 3 - 5 years in a Warehouse position.
A. Receiving and Storage
Capable to receives and unloads containers of raw materials, finishing supplies, equipment and MRO's materials from vendors and outside warehouses.
Responsible to verify description, quantity and number of package received against the purchase order and packing list. Verifies if the product or merchandise is in good condition.
Evaluates raw material and packaging component receipts, to ensure that containers of materials comply with requirements in regards to essential marking and satisfactory conditions of containers.
Physically inspects and segregate the pallets needed by the QA inspector for sampling in accordance to the inspection procedure.
Responsible for the storage of raw materials and finishing supplies in the warehouse.All pallets must be wrapped for safety reasons.
Responsible for delivering materials to the production areas (processing and packaging) utilizing FIFO systems and signs Transfer Order documentation.
Responsible for the distribution of all MRO's materials received.
Responsible for the delivery of all materials received to the stockroom.
Picks up materials for recycling from the link card board and discarded empty pallets.
Responsible for forklift inspections at the beginning of each shift.
Responsible for reporting broken bags once the segregation and handling is done.
Responsible for the storage of rejected raw materials and finishing supplies in the warehouse (Rejected Cage). All parts must be wrapped for safety reasons.
Verifies waste material to be send for incineration vs. quantities on documents.
Support the QA inspector for rejection labeling process in accordance to the rejection procedure.
Overpack or repack leaking containers or other packages of questionable integrity.
Will assure stabilization of loads with plastic wrap.
Will assure stabilization of pallets with air bags as required.
Will load containers according to maximum weight permitted per pallet space (4,000 pounds).
B Shipping Area:
Will move finished goods to be shipped from the staging areas to the link shipping areas.
Will assure that the container is clean and in good conditions for shipments. If is not clean, they will proceed to do so, and if not in good conditions, will recommend to return it to the Carrier.
Verifies finished goods to be shipped vs. items and quantities in Packing List.
Will load containers according to Picking List and assure that each pallet complies with our Quality standards.
Keeps his (or her) supervisor informed of any problems related to General Warehouse, Receiving, Waste and Shipping area.
Responsible to report to the Supervisor, any illness or open lesions that may adversely affect the product.
Will move waste material pallets to the waste area or to the trailers.
Keeps his supervisor informed of any problems related to the general Warehouse, Receiving, Sampling, Waste or Shipping area.
Responsible for the good housekeeping of all goods stored in the warehouse and link area. Assures that general warehouse facilities are kept clean, organized and under GMP rules in compliance with procedures established.
C. SAP transaction
Capable to navigate into SAP system to see inventory locations and basic information.
Capable to use RF for internal movements.
Responsible to move the materials in SAP from one location to another.
Knowledge in SAP, Excel, Power point. Controlled Substance background check
