Their work will contribute directly to the goods and services provided by General Dynamics Mission Systems to its family of customers.Candidates for this position should have experience in one of two broad areas:High density electronics packaging of electro-optic hardware: High density electronics packaging will typically involve responsibility across the full lifetime of design, develop and deliver. Challenges involve managing component heat and protecting those same sensitive components from damaging environments. Production runs are small and maybe include 19 rack-style electronics or custom-cabinet electronics.Subsea structural design and fabrication: Subsea structural design will typically involve the design, construction and test of structures intended to be used to perform tasks in a subsea environment. Challenges involve corrosion, deployment and general CONOP (concept of operation) management.
