Working as a fundamental member of the manufacturing organization, you will be a key partner to Operations, Quality Food Safety and Environmental Health and Safety personnel. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

· Preventative Maintenance – troubleshooting, diagnosing and providing unscheduled/scheduled repairs to production equipment including components such as conveyor belts, gearboxes, AC DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, starters, solenoids, etc.

· Managing Machine Performance – equipment set up and change overs for production use

· Following Best Practices – Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Four years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, but a minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with a related technical degree; or, successfully completed Apprenticeship Program

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and other alike software to appropriately record work orders and PMs

  • Ability to work well with all levels of personnel individually or in team environment and interface and communicate with production line workers

  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge

  • Be multi-crafted with skills including mechanical, print reading, welding and fabrication

  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to pass written and practical maintenance evaluation

  • Sitting, standing, walking, lifting (50 lbs) and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day

Bonus Points:

  • Associate’s Degree in a technical field or closely related discipline

  • Previous welding experience

  • Past experience with automated maintenance system and refrigeration is a plus
