A Day In The Life Typically Includes: Safely and efficiently troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment in compliance with all plant codes, policies and procedures Repair and maintain, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pneumatic/hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production lines and equipment, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments Respond to all mechanical and electrical maintenance issues throughout the plant What Will You Need? Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED At least two (2) years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Experience with conveyors, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing PLCs, HMIs, A/C & D/C motors, drives, encoders, resolvers, control systems, bearings, gearboxes and drive systems Experience reading electrical and maintenance schematics/blueprints Experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic systems using various tools and computers Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime, as required Willing and able to work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high volume environment What Will Put You Ahead? Preferred Qualifications: Previous corrugated industry experience Five (5) or more years of experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance mechanic A two (2) year Technical degree or higher in Electrical Systems, Instrumentation or Electronic Technology Our plant is conveniently located in historic Dougherty County. We employ close to 100 people at our facility. This facility operates one of the industrys most sophisticated and modern corrugators and has an impressive array of modern finishing equipment, including flexos and die cutters to provide the widest range of corrugated packaging today. We manufacture corrugated sheets from linerboard and medium and then cut, wax, print and fold these sheets to produce corrugated boxes and trays for our various customers.
